FindTube ("the app") is a search tool for finding videos and shorts from YouTube creators. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. FindTube is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
FindTube does not require an account or login. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, device identifiers, or any personal information. We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
When you perform a search, the creator name and keyword you enter are sent to our backend server, which uses them to query the YouTube Data API and return matching results. These search terms are used only to perform your search. We do not associate them with your identity, and we do not build a profile of you.
To reduce network use and speed up repeated searches, recent search results may be cached locally on your device. This cache never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the app.
Search results and video metadata are provided by the YouTube Data API. Opening a video sends you to YouTube (in the app or your browser), where Google's own Privacy Policy applies.
FindTube is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
